New PB 9.87@139.7 NA M6
So I went to Atco on friday for a track rental.
1st pass: right off the trailer. I loosened the clutch up the last time the trans was out. Well it was too loose. It sounded like a snowmobile running down the track at 7000rpm. 10.8x@131 crossing the line in 3rd gear LOL.
Got back to the pits, noticed thermostat was stuck closed. Fixed that then noticedd that the key fell out of the dry sump pulley. I was ready to pack it in after that. Thanks Matt@TTp for convincing me to keep going.
I drove into town and had a new key made. Installed it and ran her again.
2nd pass: Launched it harder this time. slipped in first, held in 2nd and 3rd then slipped in 4th. 10.09@ something.
Went back to the pits and decided to just through on some couterbalance instead of adjusting the clutch pressure.(running out of time)
3rd pass: Launched hard, slipped in 1st, grabbed good 2nd 3rd and 4th. 9.88@140.5
Decided to squeek in 1 more pass.
4th pass: Launched hard. Slipped all the way to a 1.459 60'. ran good until running out of gas at the end. 9.87@139
Lessons learned.
5 gallon fuel cell is only good for 3 passes.
Atco is an awesome track.
New Jersey people are alright.
Car runs alright. I can't wait until going back with a tightened up clutch.
Thanks,
Roman

I use a very small 3/8 rachet with the allen socket on the end with pan marks for 90 degree increments. I think BS3 can moniter driveshaft, but I have never tried it. The least expesive way would be the two channel tac, or the BS3. I think matt346ls1 was using the BS3 for driveshaft on his car.

Congrats on the awesome times Roman! Car is FLYING!
A few Questions for you guys,
1. You can adjust the McLeod Slipper clutch wile its inside the car? Which bell housing allows access to it? Or it is adjusted a totally different way?
2. Can this clutch be driven on the street? I imagine that this is a sort of centrifugal clutch that grabs progressively harder with higher RPM. So does that mean it wont grab cruising at 2000rpm on the highway?
Just trying to get a heads up from the fast 6speed guys.

Yes if you have a modified bellhousing you can use the window to adjust the counter weights and base pressure. As for driving it on the street, you would burn up the disk so fast I wouldn't do it. Those clutches are not cheap and to burn up a buy a new disk is $700. I keep a few disks here since they are suppose to be changed ever 1/2 season. You would need something like 8 turns and 40 grams of counter weight to drive it on the street and I think it would not take that.

One again, you come through with the answer in the blink of an eye. Thank you as always!
Well that shot my idea strait to sh*t lol. I'm not ready to put the TA on the trailer. But I do want to shift it. I love my CARTEK clutch, I'm already pushing it past what most have done with 7000rpm launched. Just going to have to see how far it can actually go. LOL

I kind of enjoyed taking a break in the winter when I lived up north, get a chance to regroup and gives you something to look forward to. Grass is always greener you know..
But it will be 65-70 degrees this Sunday when I go for some break in passes with the new engine
