hey guys,just looking for your opinions on quarter mile times.i know alot of people think now a days 11 second quarter mile times is slow.went to the track with my completely stock 2001 camaro down to the exhaust manifolds and muffler.i have a 3400 stall ,mt radials and a 100 nitrous kit and ran a 11.86 at 114mph.i told some guy what i ran ,and he said thats it!well i had a 86 s-10 with a 454 bb running 11.50's on motor only, so i thought the 11.86 i ran in the camaro was pretty good. plus i drove the car 1.5 hours there and back home.i know there are 8,9,and 10 second cars out there,but for what i have and have in it 11.86 wasen't bad i thought.also it only dynoed at 282rwhp.

sorry ,it dynoned 282rwhp na without the nitrous.forgot to put that in.with the bottle probally 382 or so.your right dredgo.thanks for your post.have a good holiday and everyone else from ls1 tech!appreciate it .
