Thanks, that's good info on the settings. I bought the "F" shocks for the same reason as you. I actually started out last year on 1 and quickly tightened right up to three. I hadn't had the opportunity to try anything tighter, but always wondered how four or even five would react. I knew I'd like the compression, but was afraid it would be too tight on the extention. I guess I won't be afraid to go that tight on the fronts. Thanks.

Thanks. I'm actually curious to see if the MPH picks up just a little more once I get the tune sorted out a little better. It was going pretty lean at the top due to a lack of voltage at high RPM. I wasn't logging the runs, but I suspect that if it was going that lean and getting KR, I'll pick up MPH once I get my timing back. However, if it wasn't pulling any timing, I may see no change in MPH by adding more fuel up top, but at least it will be safer.

Nice times!!! Finally nice to see someone with AFR's post their times. I used to search
all the time to see what times the AFR's were running in stock cube motors. Thanks for
posting.

My old set up a few years ago was pretty stout. It was a stock bottom end with AFR 205's 236 cam with .650" lift on a 110 lsa, fast 90/NW 90, QTP headers, M6, 9" 4.10's, Full susp out back and QA1's up front, Full furniture with A/C, 3500+lbs with 6pt roll bar.

It managed a best of 11.42@121. Unfortunitly I never got to work the kinks out of it as it broke a ring land shortly after that run. It had .2 left in it easlily.

The car made 461 rwhp corrected N/A and 572 rwhp on a 100 shot.

AFR's are STILL amoung some of the best heads money can buy! With in reason. LOL.

^^Thanks for your post to. My buddy had the Comp. 236/236 .601/.601 114lsa+2 cam with stage 1 241 heads in his 1999 T/A M6. The car was a monster..lol. He ran high 11.3's alot of times. And from a roll on the highway..OMG...It ran like it had more cubes. The idle was aggressive as hell..lol. Basically i was all ready to get a set of AFR 205's until my buddy told me to just find out what times people run with them. After not seeing too many guys posting their times and the ones that PM'd me their times made me rethink it out alittle more.
I've seen the quality of AFR's heads, but i also notice that a good ported set of GM heads run better times with less cost and its not necessary to spend tons more on a ported FAST intake and TB just get real nice times. But thanks to the OP for his post.
