Default 1.55 60' with just SFC

I have been looking at others results from the strip with comparable mods and I haven't seen any one with a 60' time like mine. I didn't pay much attention to mine until someone asked me what it was, and they said damn thats good. All I have right now is SFC, everything else suspension wise is stock. But the shitty thing is that with my 60' I should definitely have a quicker time. I'm going to say that its because I have it shifting at 6100. I was hoping to go racing yesterday, but rain just developed out of no where and we didn't go. I'm going next weekend and spraying, so I should have some fun with that.

You have the same e.t. and hp then the t/a that I race. On my 7.49 pass it was a 1.61 60' with 93mph. My best mph is 94.77 and a 1.57 60'. Only about 15 pass on the car, and all in the heat. Congrats on the good 60'

With my 4l60e and ss4000 spraying a 125 out of the hole I went a 1.46 60ft with just cheap 90 dollar drag shocks in the rear and front sway bar disconnected and I had intrax 2'' lowering springs which dont have much weight transfer at all. 1.55 is pretty good the ss4000 works good on the spray with a better track prep you can probably get it down into the 1.4x with the 4l60e/ss4000 I went a 1.60 on motor spinning a decent amount it sucks that was like one of the few motor passes ive run with that combo I just ran it that time because I was heating the bottle up.

6300, I have tried 6500, 6000, 6200. But 6300 was what worked best for me.

I was on 255/50/16 mt et street radials. It's just terrible how so many people are cutting 2.0's.

Best for me is 1.63 and I couldn't launch off idle because it spun just a tad so I had to stall it to 3200 or so and then go WOT on the third yellow, no wheelspin at all and my cars also a pig.

sounds a lot like my car last year, w/ cam only motor on a 3600 Vig and 325/50 BFG's.

1.49 60 ft was my best, car only had SFCs, LCAs and lowering springs. Worn out factory shocks work the best

BTW depending on spring rate, lowering springs can actually help these cars. The factory springs may transfer great, but they do too much, and have about 2-2.5in of wasted energy while compressing.

LCA brackets only. A4 car with 150 shot, on stock converter full weight on drag radials. 1.64 short time. A lot of the suspension crap is just that crap!

went 1.54 with sfc and lca...when i had the ss3600 and still stock internal...

start making moe power and you need things like a tq arm, rear sway bar, etc...

now best is 1.40 cam only with ss4000
