Default Drove my cam only junk to the track, no more 11.dohs

Finally got the car to work somewhat on the first 330', still bogging some launching but Ill settle on a 10. anything cam only and driving it home. Snuck in a 10.96 last pass, I think its time to finish a few little things Ive found, put a real cam in it and get it to leave clean I just wanted to see a 10.x before I changed it up a bit. Id like to go some 10.6s with the full interior still in the car when the good weather comes around. Definitely needs more hp, terd doesnt pull the wheels hardly at all and Ive heard thats where the fun is!

Your grandmas car is pretty fast. Isnt that right the car is titled in your grandmas name?

Nice run! What was your race weight and what drag radial brand are you running? 26" or 28" and what rear gear. I need to figure out what combo might work with my 6 spd. Thanks and congratulations on moving up to the 10 second club.

Mattrick if thats the case then youve just figured out some old ladys cam only car is way faster than yours then - if you had it?

3458 28" Hoosier 4.56s. Its definitely a whole combo tire/chassis/setup that makes things work, this still isnt working 100% yet. Were not that far from VA if you want to see some cars with a 325 tire on it, takes a little bit to get them to fit but not crazy. We may have a set fo 325 drag radials for sale soon and I probably get rid of the 275s at soem point and put more tire on the car. I like to get it down the track as well as I can on these first, make hooking a 325 like cake later. Especially since alot of people like to say you cant hook a 6 speed on drag radials, and even more people wont give it a second look with the small radials on it.

Well thats good, but sometimes toward the beginning and end of the season youll get -1500+ Ive seen the DA at -2200 or somethign crazy at Cecil once or twice. Cars trapped crazy but good luck getting them to hook

I need to do something with the intake on mine, its just an elbow with a filter inthe engine bay. Decent air and all (76 degrees on track i think i read), intake air temps were still 100 degrees going down track. Maybe I meant, when I actually feed the motor good air. Just isnt **** you can do with the low *** hood on these cars, not meant for a lid setup and the ABS bock is right in the way of putting something over to the fenderwell

infront of the radiator is the way to go...let it breathe there...i know my intake helped me around 25rwhp over stock setup...check out my ram air post on here i think in the external section...

awesome times again...

So you like 28" tires with your 4.56s? I've been trying to decided if i wanted to run the 28 Mickey Thompson ET street radials or the 30". I think i am going with the 325 30" et street radials but i was afraid it might kill my gearing a little bit. Those are amazing times man, I'm hoping to hit similar times cam only.

If you don't mind sharing, what other supporting and suspension mods do you have?

325s are 28s also, the 30s are 295s and 315s

Youll have to cut some fenders to fit a 30 inch tire.
