Default New track times in ws6!!!!

Well I went to the track this last Friday and ran a best of 8.08@85 MPH. I'll try and post my time slip later today. Mods are in my sig. I had some bald nittos on it so traction was an issue. My best 60ft. was 1.77 and that was on my best run. I know if I can get it to hook up I'll be in the seven's easy. Do my times seem about right?

Not too shabby! Teaser that the 8.00 is sitting right there isn't it?

Yea it is with the stock lid. Yea the 8.00 mark is right there, hopefully with some sticky slicks it will be there. Thanks for the comments

Yea, I say some stickier tires and a lid and you'll be there. A lid alone should be worth ~2 tenths in the 1/4 (a tenth in the 1/8). Let us know what happens.

You can probably get approved for the 12 second club title.

Although it could equate to a 12-second pass, doesn't he have to HAVE a slip w/12.9999 or better to GET the title change? Don't get me wrong, the 8.08 pass in the 1/8 SHOULD be the same as a 12.5000ish pass, but he didn't get a 12 second pass.

With better tires you should be able to drop into the 7's almost certain of it.

I ran a best of 7.8@87 with a 1.6 60ft
with LT's,Borla,Lid SS4000 and E/T streets.all else stock,even the tune.

Good luck , nice runs

Dave
