Kinda disappointing day at the track
Well, I went back out to race 1/8 mile again. Went to change tires, broke off a wheel stud. So, I had some friends run to a parts store and we changed the stud there at the track. When I finally got to run, it wasn't pretty. My best run was a 7.84@87.5mph. I spun to a 1.755 60'. I'm running 26x9" Hoosiers, but I just couldn't get them to turn over enough to get them hot. Everytime I got them turning good the back end would swing out hard. This was launching off idle. Raceweight was probably around 3250. Stock internal, TCS4200 stall, Hooker headers to duals, etc. I think my tune is way out of whack too. I pulled the same mph last year (better weather though), but with a good bit more weight, no underdrive pulley, no skinnies, no stall. The car was all over the track too. I had to back out of it one time because it got so out of shape. The track is really shitty, but I don't think I'm overpowering it. I think it is more a rearend/alignment problem.

You should invest in a line lock. It well make problems with burn outs no longer problems
It will also let you go longer on the stock posi.
