Default 11.963 @ 112.57, bolt on C5!! Thanks Vette Doctors!

Last Saturday I hit Long Island Motorsports Park on Long Island, NY, to test out my new converter. I recently ordered a Yank SS4000 and Mike at Yank rushed it out to me. The day after it arrived, The Vette Doctors squeezed me in so I would be able to have the converter in the car with enough time to break it in, and test it out Saturday.
At first I almost didn't go because the weather wasn't too great. Hot, sunny, and humid. But since I wouldn't be able to make it next week due to other plans, I decided to take a ride out there.
My first pass of the day I spun a little off the line since I didn't have a good burnout. The burnout/staging area there sucks, plus everyone has to drive through the water(if it's not all dried up). But after seeing my 60', I knew it would be a good day.

Here's the breakdown of my passes.
60' E.T. MPH Time Notes
1.78 12.123 @ 112.27 1535 Tire pressure 14#
1.62 12.047 @ 113.37 1549
1.72 12.084 @ 113.11 1636
1.69 12.060 @ 112.40 1651 Lowered tire pressure to 12#
1.67 12.005 @ 113.31 1701
1.72 12.068 @ 112.80 1715
1.63 11.963 @ 112.57 1724
1.71 12.043 @ 111.93 1735 Lowered pressure to 10.5#
1.69 12.035 @ 113.06 1744
1.72 12.002 @ 113.07 1749

The DA was around 1200 when I made the 11.96 pass. Comparing slips and the DA to 2 weeks before at the last Corvette Challenge, it appears I took 2.5 tenths off my E.T. from going from the SY3500 to a SS4000.

My mods consist of The Vette Doctors tuning, The Vette Doctors race prepped tranny, Yank SS4000, TPIS headers, Dr. Gas offroad X-pipe, PRT's, CCW drag package, 3.73 rear prepared by ECS, LS6 intake manifold, and the VaraRam.

I only see 2 problems with this setup so far, the need for a roll bar, and I'm going to need to find something to assist with traction so I can be consistant. I may take my front sway bar off again, but I'm not sure how much it actually helps, plus it's a PITA to keep swapping on and off. I might also be considering a set of Hals. Too bad they don't make E.T. Drags or Hoosiers in 26x10x16.

I'll be honest, I've never been to the track, but I saw that you made 10 passes, that's awesome! I guess the reason I don't go is because it's an hour and a half drive to the closest track, and your lucky to get two passes all night. At Moroso so I'm told. Cool to hear you hit 11's.

The 11.96 is impressive considering your mph (power indicator) isn't that high. To be honest, I'd be upset if I wasn't running high 11's with a big converter and the rest of your mods.
