Finaly got an 11'sec pass
 

Went to track friday and ran a new best

I ran 3 other times and got some low 1.6's 60 foots but missed 3rd, 4th or both on them. Other than tearing my trans to shit learned alot about the car it launchs better with the P/S rear hal set at 7 and the D/S set and 5. Also for some reason the car traps a lot higher when I dont spin it past 6200, I must be losing alot of power when I go past 6000 rpms I dont know why if its the cam or the heads or maybee even the intake(LS1) or something stalling it out :huh: The DA was still high +1400 thats about the best we can get up here.

Next year when I get the new trans, LSX intake, Ported TB and ASP pully Im hoping to get some low 11's out of this car at 120 +

congrats on the run. i know what you mean about bad DA. if we saw 1500 i would be happy

Thanks guys. That DA can be a real killer up here. If you correct my time to sea level it would have been a 11.60 run @ 118 or so MPH's then if that was in Texas december weather at
-2000 DA or what ever crazy DA they get down there then its 11.40 - 11.50 @ 119-120 MPH. Them guys down there are spoiled and dont even know it, at least I dont have to run in denver :eek2:

i know what you're saying. some of them will wonder why we don't run more mph and say something is wrong with the set up, but some of them just don't seem to understand how much the weather kills some of us. hell, i just ran my best times ever and the DA was 3000'. i sure would love to go down to houston in december though and run some killer times
