Default project tin can shootin for 9's

So instead of starting new threads and getting a lot of PMs, im just gonna make one thread of my car.. Car is a '94z.

motor as of now is a 100k lt1, gm847 cam, beehive springs with ti. hardware, comp. promag pushrods and ls7 lifters. No PS, AC, and low mount alt., 58mm TB, LPP headers with a open x-pipe. 6al box and all other MSD parts for the ing., stock opti. FLT4 trans with vig 3200 converter, Midwest Chassis fab9 housing with short TA, MWC LCS's, Behindbars race cars panhard bar, QA1 "R" up front and 12 ways in the back. As far as getting it light, everything is basically out of the car and cut off. Heres a bunch of pics. Any questions just ask away here and ill post up replies....

That was all kinda in the past 2 years. Updated now i pulled the car kinda apart. Going to Burkhart to get caged and cutting everything off the front end. Frame horns are gone, and trimmed the lower radiator support and cut some stupid metal **** they put on there. Fender support all gone, no hood brakets, hood shock brackets, fuse box bracket,PCM bracket. Basically everything, lol. And sanding off all the overspread seam sealer. Cut off all the seat brackets and belt brackets.

Looks good man! Our cars are so similar, lol. Black '94 Z's with slicks/skinnies, big cam, weight reduction, lol. Anytrack times for your car before you dismantled it for the cage?

no, no times. Never had a good time to with work and weather. Should be done by spring time s i should have plenty of time to get there.

I do however plan on doing changes to the motor before it goes back in, just concentrating on one thing at a time so its done the way i want and also done right. Plan on throwin in new bearings for now, diff. cam (custom ground big guy) and cleaning the heads, mill and small gaskets to get my compression up some. Then go all out next winter on just the motor!!
