I'm in here more then the rest of the site, because this is what I know/do.

Changes, not sure yet on that. I don't have any major plans for any of that, other then to try to make sure that the common myth's are kept to a minimum in here.

No I'm good I'll definately hit ya up for the tool, probably be a few weeks though. I'm in the process of digging up around my garage's foundation and waterproofing it (the steel pegs that hold the forms after a couple years have rusted out and are now leaking water, so I have to get that taken care of like now) once I have that nightmare done, I'm gonna get to work on the car.

I saved your PM, I"ll get with ya when I am ready.

Thanks!

Welcome aboard Jason, although you're no stranger to this site! As you mentioned, we're all here to help each other become better racers, create new goals and achieve new bests.

can i fit a 28" drag slick?

how fast will i be if i put nawz on my car?

what is your suspension?

what kind of wheels do you run?

what is your cam?

ah, you will love being a mod. and just wait for the stupid PMs from guys with stock cars and a set of nittos asking how you did a wheelie....

LOL. Yeah, I'm sure I'll get that eventually.

I'm gonna tell them to send me a check for 25 grand and drop off their car and I"ll duplicate the combo.

Funny part is, that if I'm not careful with that one my yard's gonna look like a parking lot

As long as the checks show up with the cars and they don't bounce I'll be good

I'm taking the year off... collecting parts though. Have about 150 lbs of weight reduction stuff on the way or already here, about another 75 lbs worth of weight reduction parts to buy and then the car's gonna start coming apart.

Goal is 2900 lbs with me in it, and if I have to lose 80 lbs myself to get it there I will

Tranny's gonna get freshened up, and the motor, I'm either gonan freshen this one up, make a change with the intake and have these heads worked on soem and go wolid roller with it while it's apart, or I'm gonna sell it TB to oil pan and build a bigger one. Just a matter of what is the motro I have in the car worth if I sell it, and what is it gonna cost me to do the upgrades to it if I stay with this one vs building a whole new one.

If it's gonna be 6 grand to do what I want with this motor, and I could sell it for 8000 and build a whole new one for 15, then I'm building a bigger one and selling this bullet.

If it's gonna be 4 grand to do what I want, and the motor is worth 8 grand but it's gonna cost me 20 grand to build a new one... this one's getting the upgrades.

Just have to price the parts and machine work, and price a new motor out and figure it out. Got a ways to go with the car before I'm at the point of doing that.

Part of me says be lazy, slap a new set of tires and valvesprings on it and run it as is... but I wanna go fast I wanna go fast
