9 second legal cage pics?
Does anyone have a 9 second legal cage that does not require heater/AC being removed? How hard is it to cut dash where bars go through and make look nice?
Any pics would be great.
Thanks,
Shawn

I don't have any pics available because my car is in Toronto right now.I have a certified 12 point in my car and the dash was'nt chopped.I had a custom cage put in by a local race car fabricator who has had cars in numerous magazines. It can be done without removing any dash parts.I paid more to avoid the gutted out look.

I would love to see pics when you can. Does it wrap close to the dash? Like blocking the AC outlets? Is there a bar that crosses above the dash or is it required? Looking at Wolfs pics on their site, I am not sure what is really needed.

I don't know how much it weighs. It is made out of chrome moly,it should be pretty light compared to mild steel.I have'nt seen my car for exactly 8 months today so I'm going from memory. It looks like a 6-point bar with the addition of a bar running from the floor along the bottom of the dash,up the A-pillar where it connects to a bar that runs across the ceiling right by the top of the windshield.Another bar runs along the T-top and intersects with the bar behind the top of the seat.I may be forgetting something considering I picked the car up from the cage shop and trailered it to Agostino several days later. One thing I did'nt forget is the car is a real bitch to climb in and out of with the cage.
