ARE's record fell today
 

Ronnie Duke's car won the outlaw class at the Shootout today with a new national record. His car went 8.52 @ ??? Can't remember the mph, but he did exact some revenge on Madman in the race ;)

Wow that car gets down, I would like to see some vids of it in action

What is the cars setup and raceweight?

I recorded the whole races the first day I will post up his record video later I need to go pick up a frewire cable then i will post his video up.

I think the car was weighing in a tad under 3700 lbs or 3800 lbs.

That car was dead-on consistent and launched/ran without any drama. It was so smooth and quiet going down the track that you couldn't even guess that 8s would hit the ET board. Amazing car, especially being convertible and 3700 lbs!

He did one of his bye-runs with the top down LOL!

No doubt!!! That car was flying all weekend.

I had a chance to check out the car up-close on Sunday, and was more than just impressed. Every piece on the car is a work of art!

That car is definately the most impressive thing I've seen in person. It was gorgeous and hauled serious ass.
