ok... As of now my car sits w/ stock 6speed, spec 3+, 3:91 12bolt, 28in et street radial... rear is in need of a rebuild so im putting 4:11's in while i have it apart.. my question is... will i have enough gear to run the 1/4mi. if i go with a 3speed down the road? then the combo would sit th350/400, 4:11, 28in tire... motor is completely stock aside from 224/224 563/563 114, spring and push rods, lt's, tune, 150shot

im shifting somewhere around 6300rpms and dont want to have to rev any higher than that if i can keep from it

any and all opinion and knowledge welcome...

Whats the tranny ratios of said 3 speed and what converter? Also what is the max rpm?

i dont have a clue about the trans ratio's or converter.. i was hopin that someone could point me in the right direction.. im not going to spin this motor past 6700 it quits making power before then anyway.. and i dont want to be shifting into 5th gear on the in the 1/4 with my 6speed

Should be fine.

I've run NA and sprayed 150 shot with 4.10's, A3, and 28's shifting at 7000. On motor I was only going thru the traps at like 6300.
