stock 00' T/A shift points

A friend of mine has a stock 00' Trans Am.........What would be the best RPM to shift it at?......He's been shifting at 5500rpms but i think he could run it up a little farther............Thanks

*oh and it's a 6 speed and the only mod is an intake lid

shift it at 6 grand....
