Default C5, H & C, Stock CID, 10.77 @ 125 all motor

Took a trip down to MIR this past weekend..... The weather wasn't as good as the Import vs domestic race but it was decent. I am going to calculate the DA here shortly. When we arrived down @ MIR it wasn't very busy being the last race of the season so I went through tech and let my car cool down.....
Weight: 3320 on MIR scales
Temp: 47
Dew: 42
Pressure 29.92 and dropping
DA = ~-560
First pass tires were @ 15psi
60' 1.61 (launched soft to check the track conditions and bogged bad)
Tagged the revlimiter on the 1/2 shift
shifted 6500
11.00 @ 124.9
Second pass tires were @ 16psi
60' 1.52
Bogged again out of the hole, launched @ 7k, shifted @ 6500
10.84 @ 124.9

Third pass tires were @ 18psi
60' 1.57
clean pass really bogged off the line
10.94 @ 124.6

Third pass tires were @ 14psi
Let the car cool down so engine temps weren't 200, the car felt good came out of the hole decent but bogged again
1.51 60'
6.8x 1/8
10.77 @ 125.8

Fourth pass tires were @ 15psi
1.58 60'
10.91 @ 125.4

Fifth pass tires were @ 17psi tried slightly different shift points
1.57 60'
10.94 @ 124.9

Thanks guys, I am still working on a few things,
1) going from 3.90s to 4.10 gears
2) Fast Intake
3) Big TB
4) More tuning
5) Maybe modifying the cylinder heads more bowl work and decreasing the runner size.
than comes da juice

Nice times. What octane do you run with the 12.2 to 1 compression?

93 octane, the cam grind has soo much overlap/no advance it bleeds off alot of compression. Makes it seem like a 11.0:1 with a small 224 cam. I could have done the same thing with 11.1:1 CR and advance the cam 4-6 degrees like the cams come normally.

I am waiting on the DA to move to -1500 maybe even -2000. My corvette is a 6 speed and I shift hard and fast.

We're planning on hitting capitol in a week or so when the temps drop alittle. Hopefully we can pick up .1 in the 60' and the temps will give me another .1-.15.

Good times Phil!
Id like to see where that motor is making 400 lb ft or more at from what rpm to what rpm.

Have you tried different shift points? Doesnt seem like that cam should peak all that high

I only have a few passes on the setup. We're shifting at 6500. I dont know if it makes 400rwtq. At least on my dyno it doesn't make 400rwtq. I don't dyno race.

its got to somewhere 404 lbft is about 100% VE and most of the good heads/cam cars are hittin that mark somewhere. Id be surprised if the car was not making that much between 4300-4800

You had me wondering when you have 7500 rpm of fun in yoru sig, that cam shoudl peka about 6400
