pics of powerglide shifter cable??
mocking up a glide and its kicking my ****.
does anyone have some shots of the pan rail cable and linkage setup?
trying to get some ideas of how much trouble its going to be to hook up a shifter cable. header collectors are taking up too much space.... i think.

No pics, but if you have the powerglide shifter bracket then it's no problem. You will want to hammer the tunnel in around that area.
I had like a 4' cable and ran it around back towards the cross member. Out the shifter hole, turn to the right, loop around the cross member and to the shifter linkage.

thanks.
i put a core tranny in and it does not look like the bracket for the cable is going to clear my headers at all.
i went ahead and ordered a 12 dollar bracket.
ill bolt it up to the pan and see if i can make it work.
at this point, i may just have to beef up and stick with the th350.
im spent on headers already. dont want to build a set.

I took some pics when I was mocking up the power glide in mine a few years ago. Hope this helps.
