Default Should I ditch my catback and ory?

I'm heading to the track this weekend and I'm looking to ditch some extra weight. Should I ditch my catback and y-pipe to cut weight or will this hurt me on the low end?

I would ditch the catback but leave the Y pipe just so you don't foul your 02's... either that or get some 18-24 extensions after the collectors... more power and less weight.. why not??

Could throw off the tune. I say try it at the track and see what works best.

This is what I did when I ran my new best of 10.61, I believe a good portion of the exhaust was still going through the catback over the cutout…I left the y pipe on the car…also it only takes like 5 minutes to remove when you make a cut at the top of the axle and bottom of the axle…use high temp hose and some band clamps, or even better weld some v band fitting and use v-band clamps to remove the section of pipe and then the cat back just slides right out the back…

I'd ditch the catback and keep the y-pipe. When I took off my y-pipe i lost a tenth everything else being equal.
