I would do the drag bar and save the rest towards a kit. The car will benefit a lot from the rear bar as you already know.
+ you will need a good amount more funds to set up the kit properly
heater, purge, switch panel, fuel pumps or dedicated, etc
or sack up and buy it all

yeh the savings is more on the kit and knowing Mike he will buy it all and that's the reason I said buy both
but if the funds are not there then take the big savinga on the kit since I do not know that Dave will do this type of big sale again, but UMI does run a few sales a year
talk to you soon

IMO, Buying the UMI Drag bar was a wise decision.
As for the Plate kit. I'm sure you'll get it soon enough bro. And with your build ethics, You'll reach your goals of bottom 10's before you know it. I remember you building the car around the same time I was building my LT1 383 Stroker for my 94 Formula. But I ended up selling out and bought an LS1 Z28.
Now I'm running high 10's NA with alot still left on the table.
Those LT1's are pretty hard to get into the 10's NA, but if you can do it(which I think you can- hell your almost there) your in my good graces. lol
I wanted 10's so bad I went the LSx route b/c it was easier to accomplish. I guess you can say the cowards way out. haha
Well Good luck man. Can't wait to see how deep into the 10's you get the car next summer. Keep us posted.
