Default Deleted heat guys, thought this was pretty cool and cheap alternative...

So you can still have heat at the track and just unplug it and make a run...kind of a cheap alternative, dont know how well it works but it is only $9...

If you don't have heat chances are you don't have a cigarette lighter anymore either, haha

If its cold enough to need that, chances are the tracks too cold to hook good anyways. Just put acouple extra layers on.

a couple extra layers doesn't stop the windows from fogging up. The fog is my only complaint about not having heat.

I have one on the shelf here, it weighs about 9-10 lbs I'd say. It uses engine coolant just like a normal heater. You can mount it to blow right up through the defrost vent, that's what I plan to do when I get around to installing it...

Im skinny and cant give up my heat, the AC is long gone though. I might pick one up for my jeep just to test it out even though the heat works.

does this have a valve so it doesn't radiate heat when the fan isn't blowing?

I use Rain-X on the inside and outside of the glass. It keeps the glass clear and fog free on those humid race nights.

I will have a Mojave heater in my new shop car for windshield defrosting duties. Under the dash is gutted big time. Past that I have some insulated Bibs to keep me warm. My **** box will be out on the street alot. Gotta have some heat.

Chris- It is a great idea and a cheap alternative IMO. That unit could make the decision as to whether to keep making passes safely or pack the stuff up and head home. I have been in a humidity drenched worse case senario and I would have paid good money to have that $9.00 heater handy.

Our quicker car has all the heating, a/c and radio stuff yanked out, but I kept both 12 volt plugs in the console for air pumps, chargers and stuff like this heater.

Thanks for sharing man!
