Congrats Keith, launch picture is awsome, your rim is almost on the ground.Goes to show the power of the mighty LS1.I cant belive they let you make a low 11 second pass without a helmet.Take that headwind away and you have 11.1's or 11.0's.Put a k-member in that bad-boy and go for 10.9's

oh yeah you could probably go with a 99' gas tank which is a little lighter from what I hear.

get that k-member and a-arms like everyone else is saying. besides being 40lbs off the car, it's off the front end, which could definitely help you get down further with the 60ft. it's hard up in this area for sure. especially with the constant weather changing and not much time left(or at all). if any of the cars had a chance, it would be yours. i think with what you have listed, and a slightly better day, you'd have no probs in reaching the 10sec barrier.

Stay with the mods you have and add a K member because later down the road if you go heads and cam the K member will be there to help then. If you go to changing gear and tire combos now then your probably going to miss out on your goal because that will change to car up completely and if it turns into a suspension tuning game and shift point rev limiter game then you will most likely spend your days at the track trying to get the combo to settle in and miss the good air. I did what i mentioned above all year and my combo is still not where it needs to be because of so many changes i made to go faster when i should have left things alone and waited for better air. Now im just now getting everything back to where it needs to be (6 months later) and im heading back to the track my next weekend off shooting for LOW 11s. Just wait till you try your combo out in GOOD air along with the K members then this summer start playing with tire, gear, shift points, revlimiter and other little things when ET will not matter much and by late fall you should have it all lined out gunning for 10.80s SI

I still am not sure what I will do. I'm really getting into my jeep grand cherokee now and might put some $$$ into that. The car just sits in a warehouse.

I keep forgetting there was big headwind so that hurt my mph as well.

We'll see.. 10's NA SI will need at least 4.10 gear I think.. i dunno... decisions decisions.

How's the RV coming along Keith.

It would be interesting to see what you could do with bigger slicks and another 50 lbs of weight reduction.

Ok so far we know you have weight reduction done to your car, i've see you have an A4 with a 4400 convertor. LT's i think I saw on the other board too. Maybe this thread won't get erased like it did on the v6 board.

What other mods do you have done to the car?? I am just wondering how you are hitting 1.4 60's and running 11.32 with just a convertor and LT's??? just don't make sense to me I'd like to see your list of power adder mods and such.

thanks
