burkhart chassis, bmr, pcmforless all make one
you can either keep the stock blower motor & modify the housing or get an aftermarket heater (i got a cheap summit one im installing)

search for hvac delete, there are some who did an excellent job of modifying the housing & have good pictures

I know of some who have done a Mohave Heater for guys like us in the North East. Having no heat and if there is alot of moisture and cold temps makes it very hazardous. I can deal with no A/C but no heat is a major PITA.

you cut what extends past the firewall since that is way the evap core is. the blower motor sits next to the heater core in the box but they are separated. you have to cut some of the box back so air can blow through. there are a few threads about it.

Yup! Not too far north though. I'm on Vancouver Island, just a few km from where the Olympics are being held. If you've been watching the Olympics at all, Im sure you've noticed how nice the weather is It doesnt get too frigid here, and anyways, my TA is mainly only a summer car. She goes on the road in early April, and off the road in late September. The only time I ever use the heat is to defog the windows early in the morning. I'm hoping some cheap aftermarket heater will work.

I took out the entire front half of the box on the firewall. I made a plate to cover the hole and cut a slot for the heater core lines and my heater still worked.

You can take the heat out completely, then mount the mojave heater so that it will blow thru the dash vent, and give you defrost. That's all you'll have, but if you think about it, that's the only heat that you really need, keeps the windshield clear, and I don't think you can ask for more then that.

The mojave is enough to heat the car too, it's not that big, but it will heat up the car enough so it's tolerable no problem. Just gonna have all the heat blowing at the windshield... but as long as you can deal with that, it's perfect.

Not sure on the weight, but if you have access to any type of fab tools and can work with small round bar, you can easily get it in the car.

I've helped a couple people put them in other cars (not 4th gen f body's) and it's generally been a pretty easy go.

I had one that never used, it was about 8 lbs. You could easily mount it inside the dash.

check my build thread, I made a lightweight "heater box" with my stock blower motor housing pushing thu a light alum heater core. Plugs right in like stock uses the factory contorals.

I looked into the movac, what I did was cheaper but little more work to do. MM uses the granger blower box, I bought it. It was heavier and louder then the stock blower hosuing. So retruned the granger box, and used the stock blower setup.
