How will these stack up against the Ultimate Converter Concepts stuff I've been running for the last 3 years?

Say, with a 1400 hp gear driven blower and a powerglide.... or are you marketing this for factory equipped tranny's only?

All we are saying is that it is a very well made converter and you should compare it to what you get with other competitors.

These converters will work with the power that any of the listed factory transmissions above can handle.

As for transmissions NOT LISTED like powerglide and TH400/350, we can spec one for your specific application, for example a 4200 stall powerglide/LS2 converter for 1000+HP would run around $850-$1000

we have worked in the LSx based performance industry for many years. Lashway Motorsports is our new shop located in Florida. we have no affiliation, now or in the past, with any converter companies. Except for the one making these converters to our specs for us now.

Guys you need to compare apples to apples here. I havent tried any of these convertors but Lashway has thrown a dare out there. If you are going to compare then find a competitors convertor in the price range listed not a Chance etc.

Were just being cautious, thats all.
Fuddle used to make the same claim's, and allthough I was lucky with mine, most people who purchased them were not.
" Rock On " transmissions was another, if I remember correctly.
This guy's products sound good though, and I am interseted.

I was once taken by a well known turbo company about 6 or 7 years on this very site. it was good to be cautious then and its good to be cautious now.

we are very happy that people are asking questions, it means that they are doing their homework and making smart buys. That is all we are asking for, that when you make your next converter purchase you consider our product as well.

I don't know Madman, I paid $1100 for my Neal Chance weld together 8", this guy says $850-$1000-that's in the BallPark and he did say and I quote:

We dare you to compare our converters to any on the market- seriously

Quite a boast to make with the likes of Neal Chance and other companies out there that are proven to work.

The converter "looks" like a quality piece.
The sponsor should get some converters out there to a few members cars and post up real results I think. No?

I agree with you. Right now the Chance is the best out there, BUT I havent tried a Chance in an overdrive trans. Lets see some track testing.

Do you have any cars running the converter yet. I would like to see some results with your converter. Also what kind of durability can you expect from your converter.

I have been running the same Coan 8" converter in my bracket car for the last 6 years. There is aprox. 700-800 passes on it. That is not an exaggeration either. That converter has not seen a freshen up either. And my 60' foot times are to the thousandth all day. Again not an exaggeration.

just my two cents

Ken

This is a new trans converter that we will be testing extensively in track conditions, we built it to be affordable and have everything we would personally want in a STREET/STRIP converter. We are going to focus our testing on the converters in our main 650-750 price range.

We made sure they were built to the best standards while staying in the quality/price range we thought would be best for the market.

For now we have the converters running in a couple of street cars and so far they have showed us they are dependable, great quality and a great converter for the street.
