Default wtb external fuel pump system

i want to do an external fuel pump system.. im running the stock 98 tank.. who sells systems that can be used with the stock metal tank?

You would need to sump the tank. It may or may not be worth the effory over a cell.

Is your mind made up that you want an external pump? Twin 255s in the tank are good for a decent amount of hp with upgraded lines from them to the rails.

If you go external and want the tank in the OEM location, you have to sump the tank or run something like Nasty Performance tank.

It really depends on what your goals are.

sounds good, but im gonna be running a stand alone harness.. can you run this set up. im low on tech... sorry just need more info

Wiring shouldn't be an issue with any setup you pick. Normally to get better voltage to the pumps, you will run them with a relay and larger feed pwr wire direct from the battery or your power distribution block. Then you can either trigger the pumps to turn on with a trigger wire from your ecu (most any aftermarket ecu has a fuel pump on trigger) or you can wire them to a switch you turn on yourself.
