Default Sealed battery box that fits in the f-body spare tire well?

I'm relocating the battery to the rear in the 2000 Trans Am and trying to see if anyone of all these f-body guys knows of a sealed and vented box for the battery that fits in the spare tire well. I have searched like normal and can not find anything on a sealed and vented box small enough to fit in the lower portion of the spare tire well. I have an optima battery and thought that I could go with a BMR style box but that doesn't seem to be the approved way at the track.

I've looked at that one and dimensions on Summit Racing site show that it would be to large to fit in the lower portion of the spare tire well. Do you have one in the spare tire well?

My take on it is it doesnt have to be in a sealed box in the spare tire compartment. If the plug in the compartment is off the plastic panel seals it off as good as any of the bulk heads I have seen. I have had mine there for years and am teched at some tracks that are strick and have never had a problem.

Bumping because I'm also looking for a battery box that fits in the spare tire area.

Burkhart Chassis has a very nice billet aluminum mounting set up. We have it with a Optima yellow top. Works perfect and looks fantastic. Optima batteries are a sealed gel cell type battery and do not require venting. Just put the spare tire cover back on and your good. Your just trying to prevent something from inadvertently making contact with the terminals.

That's great, but even a "sealed" battery is required to be in a vented box per NHRA rules.....

Yes it must be sealed and vented and you need 3/8" threaded rods going through the box mounting holes through the frame to comply with rule 8.1 also. Don't get an aluminum Taylor box because they are a pita and won't fit in that spare tire area anyway. Go with the plastic box.
