Default Battery disconnect switch amperage rating

Need to put a battery disconnect switch on the car. I've found all sorts of threads detailing wiring diagrams and mounting locations, but no one mentions amperage ratings for the switches. I see them as low as 20A and as high as 350A (continuous) and everything in between. What's recommended here? Anything at or above the alternator output?

The large ones are rated at 200-250 amps. They are the ones from Moroso, Painless, Summit brand etc. If you are running an alt. I would go with the higher rated ones.

I went with the moroso one. I'd go with the best/biggest amp. rating you can.
