Why do some of these "race" parts say they wont work w/ AC.. I dont see why they wont

Why do some of these "race" parts say they wont work w/ AC.. I dont see why they wont I've been looking @ some of these parts like the Race electric water pump and the BMR alt bracket.
they say they won't work but I can't see either of them not workin b/c the a/c compressor runs a whole different belt channel....
am I wrong here
