Haven't updated in a while but things are finally going back together. Got the motorplate mocked up and now I'm moving on to the midplate. The motor sits pretty low with the dry sump pan and it still has tons of ground clearance. The dash came in and looks really nice for the price. Also, I built a set of drop spindles that use the Strange Pro2 69 Camaro style brakes. Furthermore, my Mast heads came in the other day and now I'm finally rolling on the engine. I will try to update as time goes on.

My friend just got done making me a set of fiberglass doors. We used my old doors to make the mold. We kept the contour of the factory door inside but shaved all the holes.

The doors will be on this week, I'm in the process of have some hinges made to replace the factory ones so I can remove the doors easily. Also, the dash is a Glasstek piece.

Ended up getting my spindles back from powdercoat and I'm pretty happy with the way they came out. Next I'm cutting the t-bar mount off of the lower control arms along with the sway bar tabs then I will repowdercoat them the same color. Also at the same time I'm thinking about trying to run a travel limiter mounted to the upper control arm but I will see how that goes. I started making the front fender mounts along with cutting and plating off the the front frame rail. Next step will be to mount the front bumper and redo the front bumper support. Also, I finished my torque arm so that I can finally start mounting the rearend back in the car. It's coming along...

It's a Racecraft piece. I don't think it sits low compared to other brands that I have had in the car. Maybe it does, I will get some pictures on Monday.

Got some more stuff done on Christmas Eve. I started making my transmission crossmember now I just need to cut it apart and make the middle removable. Also, I posted a picture for the person that wanted to see the rack mounted.

Merry Christmas You all!
Thanks for the pic of the rack, it puts things into a better perspective for me!
I made my own removable trans mout also. I mounted it like you would the torque arm to the chassis connectors.
A couple of pics...
By the way the trans mount is gusseted through the boltholes.
Not trying to clog up the thread, It seems that we are doing similar things. I was thinking that my gearbox may b to heigh in the tunnel, but after seeing yours I think im all good.

It's cool, I finally got my midplate secured and now I'm moving on to cutting some small holes in the firewall so I can run some inserts through to meet the midplate. Then I'm going to run some tubes down from the dash bar to meet the inserts then the will go through the floor and meet the subframes or the front of the factory framerail.
