Default Colonels car- Does it exist, or is it an urban legend?

Colonels car- Does it exist, or is it an urban legend? Seriously, whats going on with it, seems like over a year ago it was done and ready to be fired up and dynoed, then nothing.... Is it going to be out/running/racing anytime soon? By the time it gets done, 8s will be old news, and he'll have to rebuild and go for 7s Any news, pics, updates, etc?

Just curious, Shawn

I vote for Urban Legend.

I heard the Lock Ness monster was still working on Colonel's motor.

Just last week, Bigfoot put the slicks on it and took it out for a pass. Too bad Santa Claus came and ruined the show by feeding the raindeer nitrous pellets.

I heard that Bigfoot screwed up the cage getting in and then he got his foot wedged working the pedals, and damaged the floorboard and tunnel, so the car is being repaered from all that.
Anyone got video of the Santa sleigh pass?

I have heard thru the grapevine that it's together and runs, and that they were addressing oiling concerns for a while.

its a unicorn for sure! I think he went wet sump first...then dry....then wet again..? When you are going for perfection...its hard to stop messing and start racing i think. especially since he has another car in the 11.2's on 3.23's lol.

The legend goes like this.......

A long time ago, in a galaxy not far away from Florida, there lived a man named KFC, oops Colonel. He mastered the wheelie and ran in the 9s, and was accused of hiding nitrous and of posting false times. He seemed on the edge of development and quick runs, and always told stories of having great fun. News of his accomplishments became to grow farther between, and his competition was narrowing the performance gap it seemed. He vowed to come back on top once more, but he's heard from not much on this tale of folklore. Except for a few board posts he isn't heard from much, except his new toy that he's pushed to 11's and such.......

Well......................
How about an update so we can finish the damn story????

this might be a silly question, but why have there been so many problems in the "development" of this motor when GM has raced it for how many thousands of miles in the C5r vette? i mean GM has already put this thing together (albiet in high compression form).

It's alive and it runs, seen it in person. Just needs some suspension work and things like that before it's debuted. But the motor does run fine.

I'm thinking dry sump vs. wet sump oiling.

I'm just not buying this story, Last time I saw the Colonel (albeit, a long time ago) he had a good looking hottie on each arm .
