roll cage nhra regulations
Im building a new cage this next winter instead of buying one. ( you can buy a 1 5/8 manderal bender and 1 5/8x .134 pipes for about $500 the same price as if you would buy a kit). but im installing a dash back in my car and it would be nice to just have a bender to tweak the pipes a little. so my question is can you run your main hoop this way instead of the normal way. i read the nhra hand book for 2012 and is says nothing about the hoops. it says the pipes/ tubes to use and it has to be all around the driver. and it tells you the distance of the tubes have to be from the driver head and shoulders
