Trapping 117; Should Be in 11's Right?
Second night at the track in 6 years....on a brand new set up I had 2 runs before I torched the clutch:
1st run: 2.2 60' 12.7 at 117
2nd run: 2.09 60' 12.6 at 116 (hit limiter in 2nd)
I am going with a Spec 3 before racing it again. I should break into tht 11's with that trap right?
I'm thinking racing clutch + more practice with setup = 11.xx
Let me know if I'm off target here, mods in sig....

If you can get your 60' times down to 1.80 or quicker , you should be able to get into the 11's. Keep in mind , as your 60' time goes down you'll probably lose some MPH. 117 mph with a 2.0 60' in a full weight M6 F-body is NOT mid-11's. More like 11.7-11.8.
