Default Need Some Advise on my times please!!!

Okay, i took my car to the track tonight and was very dissapointed at what i ran. I live in Arkansas and all we have are 1000ft tracks.

Look at my sig for all of my mods.

60ft........... 2.139
330ft......... 5.739
1/8 ET....... 8.641
1/8 MPH..... 87.04
1000' ET.... 11.113
1000' MPH.. 100.19

By the way i had NO problem with traction.

The Vig3600 and the LS6 intake are still on the way so i DONT have either yet.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Yea you are hurting in the 60ft, converter and intake , then some good stickey tires will help you alot. Has the car ever been tuned yet.

Your 60 ft #'s need work. 2.139 60 foot sounds to me you do have a problem with traction or you don't have enough powe to get out of the hole.

The key is to keep practicing. Practice will make the world of difference.

Hey guys im a good friend of JonBoy and yes the car is tuned by LGM.I have rode in the car and it does not spin on his street tires. You have to figure the cam moved the torque curve up so much that with a STOCK converter that the car has NO low end.I keep telling him to just get the converter and intake then see where he is at.I think the car is falling off on the big end between the 1/8th and 1000'due to the fact of the LS1 intake.Im sure the LS6 will be a huge improvement.

If you have to do one or the other, do the converter first. You might want to take a look at Yank and TCI converters as well. Good luck.

You didn't show your 1/4 time and mph. But you seem slow to me for your mods. My 2000 SS M6 with only a lid, Catback, and LS1 Edit tune (309rwhp, 326rwtq) ran 13.4 @ 106 last night.

R/T 0.671
60' 2.260
330 5.905
1/8 8.840
MPH 84.34
1000 11.349
1/4 13.468
MPH 106.39

Spinning tire right thru 2nd gear. (yokohama Street tires 31psi)
