Default How much will lowering my SS screw me?

I am considering getting some chrome ZO6 rims for my 99 SS. I want to get 18x10.5 with either 295-35zr-18,305-35zr-18, or 315-30zr-18 in the back. If I go this route I will have to lower the car a bit so it won't look like ****. I wouldn't lower it anymore then 1-1.5 inches because I have longtube headers and dropping it a full 2 inches would be too low I think. If I get the LCA re-location brackets and a good adjustable torque arm will I be able to get some decent 60fts with the car being lowered. I have the front swaybar removed and plan on getting a drag rear sway bar too. I may also get airbags for the rear suspension to pre-load it. I don't plan on being a hardcore dragracer...just every now and then for fun. I will be using slicks though. See sig for mods!

i have old school LGM autocross springs. dropped my fronts over 2" and rear 1.5" and i still cut 1.5 60' - it has a lot more to do with the tire than the suspension height. put in relocation brackets back there and you will be fine.

Mine is lowered 1.25" & my best 60 is 1.53.
