Default Launching on QTPs, m6, strange sa shocks???

Like the title says im having a bit of trouble launching on qtps. They are 26x10x15. I have single adjustable strange shocks they are set to 6 on the back and 2 on the front. Im trying to learn suspension as I go but need some help. The car has full UMI tubular suspension and does not have lower control arm relocation brackets. Best 60 ive cut on these is a 1.64 and nothing better. I usually try and leave at 5000 but that was before the 2 step which I just got so maybe that will help idk. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1.64 isn't that bad for the setup and coming out at 5k. My best 60' on QTP was 1.61 coming out at 5900. Ive switched to MT et drags and car goes high 1.4x now. My car did not like 0-2 on the front, would hook then unload and spin on me. my best 60' was set at 4 in the front (SA). I usually run 3-4 and adjust air pressure in rear tires (usually end up at 12.5-13.5) to dial the car in to the weather/track. A lot of my friends had goodluck at 0-2 but, as in my case, every car is different!

Is the car lowered? Relocation brackets really do help. What's your pinion angle set at? Id take a click out of the fronts. What air pressure? I like about 13lbs with tubes. Is the spinning or bogging? Take a video of what the rear end is doing at launch and see if it is bouncing and unloading the tire. Sometimes u need a camera that will do slo motion to see it

It has the stock springs on the rear with the rubber spacers removed. 2 weeks ago it was at -1 but ill have to check again when i get it back on the ground once i get the tick master back from getting rebuilt. I went to Edgewater friday night and had the front set at 4. Ill have to get a video next time i go which will hopefully be next friday. I lowered the tire pressure all the way down to 14 friday and it def seemed to hook better and no tubes do you think it needs tubes?

Those were on MT et drags. I want to get it to hook better on the qtps since i will be racing true street at ls fest this year and you cant run a true slick. After ls fest i will be running slicks just to see if i can get to my goal for the year!

I ran my qtp at 11.5 to 12 psi launch at 6k and was cutting 1.55 to 1.56. I would click the fronts shocks down at least one.

I may try taking them down to 2 and if thats to soft bump them up to 3. If you dont mind me asking what gears were in your car at the time? Ive always heard anything super low on qtps would hurt you more than help, but i found that on the internet and everything on the internet isnt true lol

I have 4.56 gears. Also with my psi that low ppl said it would t be stable! I had no issues at all with a bad sway on the big end. That was on stock front suspension and stock rear shocks also.
