Layed down some 7's with streets
 

Finally did it! I was told so many times by my friends that street tires cant put me to the 7's I ran 05/13/04 at Farmington dragway in NC a 7.705@92.350 I was running BFG's comp T/A KDWS running them on a 245 50 16 get some good side walll over my 17s. here is the best of several 7 second runs 1.802 5.007 7.705 @92.350. No N2O straight motor with streets at 30 PSI. So it can be done though I would let you know. Derek :burn:

88 degree day at a 1200' track, cats, stock d/d exhaust, full tank of gas, baby seat, turbo tech 255/60/15s @ 32psi, 1.990 60' 7.76 @ 95.5mph, Wasnt even able to floor the car until I shifted into 2nd gear :D

I didnt go there to run the car, was tuning on a friends TT C5 and a couple fox body mustang guys didnt believe me when I told them what the car ran, I didnt see them anymore after I made a couple passes :D

nice runs, the mph should be good for 7.30s at least with a full hook on stickys :thumb:
