I ran consistant 1.42's on 315/35/17 Nitto's with my old setup-NA.

It's more about suspension than tires.

I understand that, but I see plenty of M6 guys running 28" tires to get their cars to work. I'm not sure if that's just a way to cheat around doing suspension work to their cars or if that is what is actually needed in that case. With a converter that is flashing to 4700-4800 I wasn't sure if there was a chance of getting these (275/50/15 ET Street Radials) tires to work. I would prefer to stay on a 26" radial, so if that means that I need to change some of my suspension setup I will do that if needed. I might have some time next weekend to head to the track, as long as the weather is decent, to see if I can get a good 60ft out of these.

I've pulled a 1.47 on a 275/50 mickey Thompson. That's all the car had. Flat footed it right out of the hole.
