Damned heat-only ran a 11.97@117.84 today

Damned heat-only ran a 11.97@117.84 today I thought for sure I'd run a new best today. It was hot as heck & humid at Great Meadows, N.J. (Island Dragway). I normally trap 120.xx, today my best run was;
60' 1.796
330' 5.084
1/8 7.771
mph 92.69
1000' 12.262
1/4 11.978
mph 117.84
Then on the way home with the ET Streets on the back it started a terrential down pour. I quickly got off the road & hung out at BK for an hour until the roads cleared. I feel like I got a 11.4-11.5 second car but can't catch a break lately. Either "Heat" or no traction.. I guess i'll just have to keep at it, Fred

Nice times especially with that raceweight and a 6-speed. Keep up the hard work and the times will drop!
