Here is mine the Lokar cable I have came with a ball stud to screw into the t/b lever. I went to a my local hardware store and bought the 3/4" long coupler to tie it all together.
Is that 86 Blazer cable being used in a 4th gen F-body? I like the way it fits the linkage bracket better than my Lokar. I might consider changing to the Blazer cable, is it for a 4cyl. or 6 cyl S-10 Blazer or fullsize?

If I had your set up I'd get 2 #10 machine screws and a 3/4"-1" coupler or threaded extension. use 1 screw to attach the coupler to t/b lever and other screw to go through eye hole of cable and attach it to other end of coupler.
