Default enough tire?

I'm going to be running a 12bolt, ET Streets, and a TNT 150 shot on top of my current mods. Maybe another bolt-on or two. With 3.89 gears, do you guys think that:
A: 26-11.5-16 ET Streets could handle this power?
and
B: I can make it through the traps before hitting the rev-limiter (stock)?

I don't really want to purchase some Pro Stars yet, 'cause I can get the 16" wheels for free! Thanks.

I think it will be real close if you can make it or not. depends on what mods you have.. If what is stated above is it, then I think you will be right around 6000..

Also the 26 x 11.5 are plenty of tire.. There are plenty of people that run them on 16" rim, so do that. Go have fun..

I really doubt the ET streets are going tohold that kind of power unless you have an awesome track. ET drags in the same size will help alot more but I would recommend 28's. I really doubt also that you will make it on 26 inch tires, 3.89's with a stock rev limiter across the line in fourth, if you did, it would be really close.

I know with a measly 121mph on 26's and 4.10's I'm at 6400rpm across the line..and I would think with good driving you would have much more mph.

28's would give you the extra gearing and traction you need IMO..especially if your gonna spray right off the line.

My track is fairly good, they spray VHT down on test&tune nights... I think PSJ has been to US41 before, right?

Anyway, I think you've made me realize that I will need to run more tire, unfortunatley. I plan to have the TNT kit by spring time - then when I do more mods from there i'll be screwed.

I'll just have to bite the bullet and buy some Pro-Stars. Thanks guys.
