How to determine whether you need 1 or a pair of airbags?
I plan to buy airbags for the car, but as I was checking out the pricing, I noticed that they DO offer them in single bags. I thought you could only buy them in pairs. Anyhow, I was wondering do I need to buy just 1 or the pair? Thanks.

So if I only need 1 and I can buy just 1, why buy 2? I know that the passenger rear squats a lot more than the driver rear, but do I want either side to squat at all? If not, then I could see using them in both rear springs. I wanna know if its even worth the time, money, and labor installing it in the driver side rear spring. If I only need 1, then Im only going to buy 1 because I dont want to hassle with selling it.

Oh it's easy to install. Just take your spring out, put the bag in, connect the hose, and run the line where you can get to the valve(ran mine to a place under the back bumper, drilled a hole in the bumper brace and installed it there) I comes with the air hose and valve stem like on your tires to add/remove air from the bag.

You need only one on passenger side. Most people just used one and must experiment for air pressure...some run 17 to 22....just for starting.....cheers........

I have two but use only the rear right at the drag strip. Before I get home I fill up both to about 30 or 40 so my exhaust can clear the driveway (bad angle).
The natural tendency is for the front left of the car to pull up and rear right to squat so you’d probably only need to use the rear right.

Well right now, the car squats a lot more on the passenger side rear than the driver's side and the front driver's side tire pulls off the ground higher than the front passenger. So the bag would need to be in the passenger rear to lessen the squat resulting in a more even launch. Anyhow, I just need to make a decision whether to buy 1 or a pair. I didnt know if I ever get into the 9s or 10s or whatever, that Im going to need it in the driver's side too.

Well, I went ahead and just bought 1 bag, but I forgot to ask if it came with everything to install it, does it come with everything to install it? I figured if I can buy 1 for the same price as if I was buying a pair, then Ill just save the money now and if I ever need one in the future, I can buy another. The main thing that was throwing me off is, if I ever got so fast that I would need them in both springs. Im probably never going to get so fast that I would need them in both springs, but I thought Id ask. I didnt know how far you could go with just an airbag in the passenger rear. Regardless, if I would of bought 2, what I want to know is if I need to install it in the other side. Thanks.
