Hey all, it was great seeing all of you out there.. and you cant beat $2 to race all day (thanks Kathy ) ~~ I think for carlsbad I need off road tires to get there and drag radials to run there ~~ Car felt good on the top end but I had no traction.. even a 1200rpm launch produced quite a bit of spin.. best of the day

1/4et: 13.952
1/4mph: 101.85 (hit the rev limtr in 3rd!)

My best MPH was 105.16 with a 13.975 et.. I think hitting the rev limiter in 3rd really slowed me down <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

I dont think it was too bad for a first attempt.. and with some wheels lighter than the 18" Z06's and drag radials I should be in good shape.. wouldnt trapping with a 105ish mph mean I should be good for better than 13.975??

Thanks to all that coached me and I look forward to the next one (im going to go wash my car now)

Thanks Pat.. sounds like a fair trade.. let me try the DR's and you get one pass in my SS (making note to lower my rev lmtr to 5900.. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> )

Actually Pats are for loan.. i still need some to buy.. How much ya lookin for Terry? hopefully they are silver scuffed up wheels so I can get them cheap <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

They are nice wheels with good condition tires.
;( I'm looking to get $300 for the set. They are the 17x8.5" ss rims (look like the ZR1 rims), with 274/40/17 nitto drag tires.
