What EXACTLY do I need to be 11 second legal :) Hi guys,
I am doing my budget for this year and have decided to bite the bullet and become emissions legal.
Here is what I am planning
6 point cage (Probably Wolfe chromeoly) with swingouts and the straight bars.
DS loop (already have)
5 point harness (Can you guys recommend a part number or a good 5 point for me to buy?
What else do I need?

i think there was a guy over at the "other board" selling his black 5pt harnesses with the CAM-locks or whatever you want to call them. might want to check that out.

i think there was a guy over at the "other board" selling his black 5pt harnesses with the CAM-locks or whatever you want to call them. might want to check that out.

I got my 5 point harness at CSC Racing in Newmarket. They're local, reasonably priced, and were in stock <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Re: What EXACTLY do I need to be 11 second legal :) DSL,SFI SPEC flywheel,flexplate,master cutoff if battery is in rear of car,3" harness,the rol bar has to be welded to .125" steel plates, welded to the rockersills and floor.Or 6"x6" plates bolted to top and bottom of floor. I have a NHRA rule book here , i can look up stuff if you need any info. <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

ps- I think for the tracks around here I can get away without the DSL,SFI SPEC flywheel,flexplate, etc. As long as I have the cage and the 5 point, jacket, I dont think they'll bother me too much.
