9's N/A with T56 possible?
 

Just curious if anybody has done this with something like a 408 etc. I went 10.92 with a heads cam car at 452/388 and 1800 feet. I know even with my 408 now I won't be close just wondering if anybody has.

Very possible. Just takes some know how, search the speedmullet he will do it.

when I was a 6-speed my trans builder had a 4th gen Camaro that went 8's all motor with a T-56. At the time I believe it was the record holder.

I went 9.9x with my old t56/416 nitrous combo n/a and 8.80 on the bottle. and now with the turbo/t56 combo ive been 8.54@164

More details on that 416 combo....... Please.

With the t-56 we've been:

10.02@135mph w a bolt-on 346 n/a

9.64@141.85mph with a cam-only 346 n/a

9.3x and 148mph with a 388 n/a

Have a 396ci race motor that made ~950fwhp n/a that we can drop in and should run well.

I think so. For roughly four times the cost and one sixteenth the reliability you could get a low eleven second car (inconsistently)
