Default Finally in the 12's on street tires...

Well, started out totally roasting the tires(bald goodyear f1's) going into 2nd the first two runs so I dropped the air pressure to 25psi and ran a 13.18 @ 108. I was shifting easy because I was afraid I was going to still have massive traction loss but I didn't so I hot lapped it and ran 12.945 @ 110.08 (2.13 60 foot). Then ran 13.04 @ 109 and 13.05 @ 110.

Then I go up for the brackets, launch and at about 4000rpm or so in 1st it starts missing really bad, hit 2nd same thing so I just coasted. No codes in the computer and the motor isn't making any odd noises so I don't think it's internal, plus I didn't miss any shifts. On the drive home it starts getting worse above 3000 in 1st , 2nd and so on. Tuesday I'm going to have someone autotap it and see what cylinder(s) it's on and go from there. Last year it did the same thing and I took to GM and they Performed Injector balance on NO 2. Which I'm not really sure what that includes.

I'm going to guess it's either a plug, wire, or injector. I just need to get started doing the process of elimination.

UPDATE:

Misfire solved.

#8 spark plug wire was just hanging on the plug, pushed it on and it runs like it should.
