Damn that's a good idea, school that would actually be interesting. I may actually look into a summer class or something, I'm to lazy to type in SAM's url though I need a banner on the side of my screen to click on. Teach me how to make this damn thing faster!!

I'm just curious as to what blocks they are using...are they using the stock type aluminum block LS1/LS6 or are they using the 6L truck block? Doesn't make a hill of beans to me I'm just curious.

Congrats!! It's always fun to see these guys racing out there...having fun....that's what it's all about!!

Josey,

SAM is running a sleeved aluminum LS1 block with a 4.080" bore. Runs hard with no leaks!

Hey PATRICK what kind of intake are they using now. I was told it was a custom job and was wondering if that was correct.

The car has being running the same Intake as it's previous runs. The school switch from the LS6 which was run at BG.. too a sheet metal intake since being back in Houston. Most of the changes from the 9.97 too the 9.86 was due too the clutch and the fuel pump. Finaly took the stock pump out

Judson is one smart dude! I believe he runs stick shift, because like all hardcore engine builders MPH is what rewards his efforts, not E.T.! E.T. is a combo of car preparation, driving, and track conditions, 138 mph at that weight speaks very loud IMO.
