My current Formula suspension are Strano/Koni 4/4. Would I be better off with stock springs/CE 3 way in the back?

Im about to pick up a 02 Z28 6sp that will most likely get the track oriented suspension.

The Formula is back alive and she feels strong, I still need to get the trans cooler mounted right and install the trans temp gauge.

Anythung else to cut out the front besides the frame?

I am now at 3000lb on the scale with 3/4 tank. Super happy with it so far, I'm guessing 50lb less with 1/3 tank giving me 3100lb race weight.

I still have to change some for more reduction.

LW battery
Panhard brace
Rear seat and trunk metal
Hatch sound deadening
Plastic bucket seats and 5pt harness
ABS and module

I think I'm going to cut it close to get 3000lb rw. Im holding off on K member and tube suspension.

Shes stuck at 12.6x @109! Even with good DA, Getting the LQ9/LS3 put together mated with a 3600 stall then save up again for the rear.

Long needed update!
Collecting parts while I'm on my 6mo "vacation"

Some updates, still hovering over 300lb raceweight
still stuck at 12.6, replaced koni/strano back to stock. 3 way drag shock in the rear

275/50 ET Street R
SUMMIT Poly seats and bracket
CL 3.42 rearend

Possible
Viking DA 300lb spring on the fronts
shorty Torque Arm (need input!)
