FASTECH's newest 11 second vette

Add another member to the 11 second club of cars built by FASTech. The track prep was perfect for the O'Reilly Drag Racing Series, although there were alot of delays. I was competing in the Toyo Tires Street class. Run #1 was a 12.26(the car spun on the 1-2 shift and activated the A.H.). Run #2 was almost a perfect run. The car launched hard and went through three gears without a hitch. The end result was an 11.983 run @ 116 mph. That was on Runflats and the stock converter. I was given a list of things to buy from the Tech guys for breaking into the 11's. Run number three was a bust as I let off to soon at the end and ran a 12.26 on a 12.05 dial in. Thanks to Sean and the crew at Fastech for building a Bad a$$ vette. Here are the specifics for the 11 second run:
1.906 60'
5.157 330'
7.782 1/8 @ 94.51
10.048 1000'
11.983 1/4 @ 116.89

Congrats on joining the club. Were you in the yellow C5? I was in the sunset orange SS w/ Convo Pros; don't know if you saw me or not. 11's are excellent considering that the weather was not that great yesterday. When are you going to install a converter? You'll be in the low-to-mid 11's w/ a nice tq. converter. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Did the tech guys tell you not to run another 11, or did they just give you the info on what you need and still let ya run?
