New mod!
You guys kill me.
I can't imagine that you two are the only guys to do H/C, weight reduction, Sticky tires and a big stall and run low 11's.
I'm sure no one else on the west coast would be doing that.
I think they should shut down class two to everybody except you guys, no point in making the trip now.
Not every one on the west coast buys there engine parts from MMS and not everyone runs at a track near you guys or posts about it.
Be prepared for disappointment.

SSValet:
There are 5 cars in the 10's at 346ci. I don't think anybody will do it at bakersfield, but I know I'll be close. So NO, I'm not concerned about what the Vegas guys can/will run.
Terry, you have to take out the AC!

While you guys are at it you should take out the PS as well.

Is it just me......or does having a race car with a oem short block just seem well....strange?
I mean really......gutted....no ac? no ps? I v e got a car like that......its a pita.....but way faster then 10.99.......although my car didn t come with ac or ps.....etc.....but it does still have its power windows.....
Don t get me wrong.....you guys are flying...but call it what it is....

It takes weight or power to get in the 10s on 346ci, you can take your pick. I am hoping to find 15-20rwhp more so I don't have to take out my carpet and AC. If I don't find the power, and I can remove those items under the rules, I'll do it to stay competative. I can always put them back in the next weekend.
I'm hoping there will be other quick cars showing up to the event, but since their owners aren't on here talking about them all we can talk about is what we know.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I thought the c2 rules were something like.....interior that it came with? Wouldn t seats and carpet sorta be part of that?

The AC kept leaking on my car ever since the heads/cam......and I live in Oregon so I don't need the AC that bad. I'll drive my truck when it's THAT hot. I won't ever get rid of the power steering, it's a street car.
I'll call it like it is for ya. I'm creative with weight reduction and can easily put back what I takeout or change at the track. i.e. passenger seat, catback & y-pipe that is flanged for easy install/removal, short-belt mod to bypass the power steering, etc. I run a full interior, carpet, panels, airbags, power everything.....etc. It's not a racecar. Just a well thought out street/strip car. Hal's for adjustability and Eiback prokit for handling.
When I can drive 3500 miles in 2 weeks and race at 3 different tracks along the west coast, while getting 21 MPG w/4.10's, with a quiet catback exaust, killer stereo, run low 11's, not get pulled over by cops, and getting a few girls' phone numbers along the way.... without any problems at all, how is that not a great street car? That is something that technology & doing your homework can do for you.
