Congrats Coach, 6/12 was my first bracket race since I got the roll bar in. Made two time runs (it was 93 degrees and 70% humidity, heat index was like 100) with the little 50 shot and ran a 6.97 and 6.99 so went up for first round, I was the next car to go and it monsooned for 45 minutes straight. I almost forgot how much fun it is in a downpour getting it loaded and strapped down

Congrats on the new best..

Congratulations!!

Did you notice how consistant your car is on the top end? From what I can tell you are only a couple of thousands different from run to run. The DA only seemed to mess with your eighth mile times. You can win some races with that car for sure!!

Good luck with the rest of the season.

Thumbs up

Thanks everyone.

The Hot rod is pretty consistent right now. Thunder, Madman and Camaroholic have given me a great race car.

My wife thinks that Madman and Camaroholic deserve a lot of credit for the hot rod's great runs. Without them, we couldn't even be at the track right now.

The problem that I am having is driving the top end of the track. It sure is hard to make split second decisions to dump it or stay in it. I am working on this part of the race. I also still practicing 100 light per day on my practice tree.

This weekend it is back to IHRA 1/8 mile bracket racing. We will be at Lone Star Raceway Park for the IHRA divisional/bracket race. I am in 3rd place in the points at this track also.
