There's a ton of little tricks like that, it's hard to right them down and post them because you don't think about them until you need to do it. You can get step bits up to 1-3/8" now so it cuts down on the need for 10 different hole saws or sanding/grinding to fit tabs on tubing. Doing 4 tabs like that take 1/20 of the time than any other way. Thanks for the compliments guys.

My home made sunset orange metallic is close enough for me. If I hit it with some scotch bright to dull it down a little it'd prob be a little closer. But I might just paint the whole bay nex time motor is out. Painted fender apron from inner fender forward, hood pin bracket and end of frame rails.

Couple questions.. I was thinking about deleting all the Factory hood latch items and running just the two aerocatch pins as well , does it seem pretty secure?
Also curious how come when you had the interior all apart you didn’t cut out all the rear brackets for rear seats etc..

I have no street time on mine. But going off of others post there is no problems with just the aero catches.

My first motor plate had a pretty nice warp in it so they sent me another one. If everything goes well I'll be sending the original plate back with my template. With any luck they'll be offering a precut plate for the 4th gen then.

Hopefully be back in garage working again soon. With night time temps at zero or lower than last week and fighting with moving the propane heater around in garage I said f it and got a heater. My garage is attached to the house with heat but it's radiant heat in the ceiling and it cost an arm and both legs to run.

Went with the Comfort Zone CZ220, it's a 5kw 240v ceiling mount heater. Small garage life and nothing having a permanent spot in there I went the easy route and jut put a 15' cord on it. Now the 1 220v plug in the garage is for welder, air compressor, heater and generator when power goes out. Found a 15kw electric air handler for $50 but was way to big for my garage so showed it to a buddy and we'll be putting it in his garage 25x35x9. Lucky bastards gonna have heat for about $125 all in and I'm mounting it horizontal on ceiling so he isn't loosing any floor space.
